Annie has just turned 6 months, and I cannot stop thinking about where the last half a year as gone!!
From a tiny little dot to a 6 month old little baby girl, sitting up and now eating proper foods! Which as a result means proper... Poo's!! 🤢
I am trying so hard to ignore the milestones, what she should be doing at what age. All I can say is that, I think I have a lazy baby! When she is lying down she doesn't want to move, she would happily fall asleep anywhere! Which means no rolling as of yet. To be honest I think I should be quite happy about this, as for now I can still leave the room without having to keep darting back to check on her every second.
Dressing her up in cute baby clothes will never get old. And I absolutely love making bespoke pieces for her. Although I'm not sure she loves having to get changed at least three times a day!
We've had two little teeth pop through and you can now see them when she smiles which is super cute! The dribbling stopped for a bit and it was lovely not having to carry a thousand bibs round with me, sadly it has started again! I am hoping these next teeth make a quick entrance! Touch wood!
We've started weaning and it turns out Annie is OBSESSED with Avocado. Luckily for me you can get a pack of 5 for £1 from Aldi so I'll allow her to have it! 😂 I love watching her little face light up when she knows it's food time.
If anyone knows any good ideas for baby recipes please do comment and let me know!
She's in her big pram now which makes taking the dog for a walk much more exciting as she can see everything now. Watching her look around and explore the views makes me wonder what could be going on in that little head of hers.
I'm looking forward to the next 6 months in the run up to her being ONE!! Fingers crossed she will be rolling by then atleast! 😂
After having my lovely little Annie on 11th August 2019 I decided to take the big jump and to set up my own business. It's something I have wanted to do for a while but never new what I could do. I studied Textiles with Fashion at Manchester school of Art for 3 years and have always been creatively minded.
When I started buying clothes for Annie I struggled to find clothes for girls that WEREN'T pink!! Don't get me wrong I love the colour and I think girls are always drawn to pink, I don't know what it is. I wanted Annie to have clothes that weren't necessarily 'Girly'. So when beginning to set up Bebe.Bespoke my aim was to source fabrics that were suitable for both boys and girls as I was sick of seeing blue, pink or grey as my options in high street stores.
I hope you like my fabric choices and I am aiming to introduce a new fabric regularly to keep up with the seasons and occasions. Please feel free to email me on firstname.lastname@example.org with any suggestions of what you might like to see your little one in. All comments are welcome!
I have created 4 different designs to launch Bebe.Bespoke which are Dungarees, Rompers, Hareem leggings and Normal leggings. At the moment there are seven different fabrics to choose from. If you are wanting something more unique please visit the Bespoke page where you will have the option to choose what fabrics, colours etc you would like for your pieces. If you are looking for a gift I would recommend my Bundles page where you can purchase matching leggings and bandana bib sets. A perfect little gift for a newborn.
I hope you enjoy looking through my site and getting to know Bebe.Bespoke. I look forward to getting know you and your little ones as they grow.
Please don't forget to follow everything Bebe on my social media sites.
Lots of Love
Tabatha & Little Bebe Annie
Annie is my little treasure, she is my inspiration that started Bebe-Bespoke clothing brand.
Nobody can prepare you for motherhood. At 5:12am on the 11th August 2019 Annie was born, 6 hours later we were on our way home with this tiny little human in her newborn dungarees that were WAY too big for her, with no instruction manual and no idea what the following months/years were going to bring.
This tiny little baba was relying on us solely to look after her and I have never felt so terrified in my life. 5 months later and I cannot believe how far she has come and how much she has changed! Born 6lb 5oz and now weighing 16lb 4oz, she has hair and can now sit up, she's refusing to role over and HATES being on her tummy but I'm not going to let that worry me. Babies go through their milestones at whatever pace they feel.
Setting up a business whilst being a new mum has not been the easiest and has definitely come with its challenges but I am so happy that I have achieved it. I have always wanted to do my own thing, having Annie has pushed me to do exactly that. I hand make everything you see and every bit of waste is kept and used in a different way. I absolutely love making little boutique baby clothes and what I love even more is knowing that they are going to lovely little baba's that will be going through their milestones. Learning their world and exploring everything new along the way.
